Collapsed Obuasi government Hospital wall to see renovation soon – MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive for Obuasi, Hon Elijah Adansi Bonah has assured authorities of the Obuasi government Hospital to immediately see to the renovation of some parts of the collapsed hospital walls. He was speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a US$ 200,000.00 Maternity Block for the municipal hospital; which was sponsored by AGA Obuasi Community Trust Fund, last Thursday at the hospital premises.

Part of the walls of the hospital have been down for close to a year or two.

“I will also want to take this opportunity to assure you about plans to renovate the fallen walls. I’m not happy seeing cattle and intruders taking over the premises, which will affect smooth operations “, he reiterated.

The collapsed walls, according to hospital authorities, also poses a security threat to staff and patients.
